Urchin Tracking Module

Query parameters (source / medium / campaign / content / term) appended to a URL so analytics tools can attribute the visit. Manager.Social presets keep them consistent across every channel.

Deep link

App-aware URL

A link that opens directly in your mobile app if installed, or falls back to the App Store / Play Store / web if not. iOS calls them Universal Links; Android, App Links.

Slug

The short part of a short link

The part after your domain — /launch-q4 in go.brand.com/launch-q4. Auto-generated or hand-picked. Reserved words like admin or privacy are blocked.

Bot rate

Share of clicks filtered out

The percentage of incoming clicks that scored above the fraud threshold. Above ~12% sustained = something's wrong. Filtered clicks are excluded from CTR and conversion math.

Deferred deep link

Attribution that survives install

The campaign data attached to a click is held aside until the user opens the app for the first time, then matched. So a TikTok ad that drove an install gets credit, not just "Play Store · organic."
